Children & Young People Looked After at Home.
Independent Advocacy Perth & Kinross support children and young people who are Looked After at Home. This means children and young people who are living at home and are required to comply with the terms of a Compulsory Supervision Order granted by a Children’s Hearing Panel.
It can be difficult for children and young people to be heard, included and respected due to barriers and imbalances of power. An independent advocate can support them to navigate the systems and ensure their rights are upheld. We can support a child or young person by speaking for them or being by their side while they speak, to make sure their views are heard and they understand the information being given to them.
