The University of Glasgow is running a research project called ‘Bread and Roses: Rest, Free Time and Disability (in, against, and beyond disabling capitalism)’, looking at the politics of rest, free time and disability in the UK.
If you’re an adult (18+) who is based in the UK and self identifies as disabled, they would like to hear from you! There are two ways to have your voice heard:
- Phase 1: Questionnaire – a guided survey you can fill in now (Easy-Read and Word document versions available). The deadline is December 31st, 2026.
- Phase 2: Collective Discussions – these will be online group meetings taking place from Autumn 2026. Participation in these meetings will be compensated with a £40 Love2Shop voucher (other options can also be offered).
